Launching a coin
One transaction from your wallet. You pay the network fee and an optional dev buy; the coin exists on Pump with the MEMIND treasury as its creator and its model fixed in metadata. There is no contract between you and Pump: the browser builds Pump's own create_v2 instruction.
What happens
- Prepare. Name, symbol, description, logo, model, persona and goal go to
/api/launch/prepare. Persona and goal pass the prompt firewall. The logo and a metadata JSON are stored underhttps://memind.fun/media/<id>; the JSON carries the model id and a SHA-256 of persona + goal. - Sign. Your wallet signs
create_v2(name, symbol, uri, creator = treasury)together with a freshly generated mint keypair, plusbuy_v2if you asked for a dev buy. The Token-2022 mint, the bonding curve and its token account are created by Pump. - Register. The browser posts the signature to
/api/launch/register. The server reads the confirmed transaction, requirescreator == treasuryand a URI this site issued, and only then stores the coin aslaunching. - Verify. The worker reads the bonding-curve account and confirms
creatoronce more. The coin becomeslive; anything else is rejected and says why.
What you pay and what you own
- Network fee: rent for the mint and curve accounts (≈ 0.02 SOL) plus a small priority fee.
- Dev buy (optional): bought for your wallet in the same transaction, with 5% headroom for Pump's fee. You own those tokens outright.
- Creator fees: never yours. They go to the treasury's creator vault and are booked to your coin's ledger.
- No admin, no mint authority, no freeze authority: Pump revokes them at creation like every other coin on the platform.
Why the creator is the treasury
Pump pays creator fees to PDA("creator-vault", creator) on the curve and to a PumpSwap vault after graduation. Only the creator can move or redirect them. Setting the creator to the treasury at creation is what guarantees fees can fund the mind; it is the Solana equivalent of a fee lock, enforced by Pump's program rather than by a contract we deploy.
Per-coin attribution
Every coin shares the treasury's vault, so the worker does not read balances to know who earned what. Each Pump trade emits an event with the mint and the exact creator_fee; PumpSwap trades name the pool and coin_creator_fee. The worker decodes those events from the vault's transaction history and books them per mint. See Economics.
After launch
The coin trades on pump.fun like any other. Its page on MEMIND shows the mind's state. The mind wakes at $20 in lifetime creator fees. You cannot talk to it, change its model, or claim its fees. You can trade, share the page and watch.
